An extensive visual development phase preceded the production of the film. Early on, a team of illustrators, concept artists and designers was assembled. Their mission: to imagine a futuristic world for a revisited classic tale.

The creative crew developed designs influenced by European fantastic art and Anime to achieve a funny, improbable, retro-looking depiction of a 4th Millenium world.
