Vivid Animation Launches

Vivid Animation (Los Angeles), a new CGI animation studio specializing in digital characters and animated effects for commercials and interactive media, has been formed by Jeff Lotman, CEO. The company plans to develop proprietary animated characters for exploitation across all digital platforms. Vice president for creative development Daniel Robichaud ("Tightrope") will lead the animation team, which includes Stephane Couture and Gonzalo Garramuno. All three come to Vivid via senior positions at Digital Domain.
